Schuett, John "Jack" Age 83, of Medina, passed away peacefully at home April 2, 2013 surrounded by his loving family and friends and is now with the Lord. Jack was born in Waukesha, WI graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and practiced as a CPA in Milwaukee until moving to the Twin Cities in 1964. He founded The Schuett Investment Companies in the '70s and was active in the St. Louis Park Rotary Club, Rotary Youth Exchange Program and is a Paul Harris Fellow. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mabel; brother, Robert and wife Connie; brother-in-law, Tim Lick. Survived by Jan, his wife of 56 years; children, Amy and her son Tyler; John and wife Carmen and their children Seth (Anna) and great-granddaughter, Ethny; Shayla, Stacey and Spencer; Becky and her son, Evan; Tom and wife Jill and their children, Mattea, Jessica, Peter, Sophie and Sam; sister, Betty Lick; brother- in-law, Jerry Grout and wife Nancy; and his loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Jack's life will be held 11 AM Monday, April 8 at Messiah United Methodist Church, 17805 County Rd. 6 in Plymouth. Visitation 4-6 PM Sunday at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. at Vicksburg Lane and 1 hour prior to service at church. Private interment at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Methodist Hospice, Mayo Clinic's Pulmonary Fibrosis Research, or Messiah United Methodist Columbarium Building Fund. Gearty-Delmore 763-553-1411
