Carlson, Jeffrey Kenneth age 34, of Maple Grove, passed away Wednesday at home with his family after a two and a half year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Jeff was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He graduated from GRHS in 1996, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2001, and his MBA from Cardinal Stritch University in 2010. Jeff was employed for the last 8+ years at Boston Scientific, most recently as a Quality Engineer. Jeff is survived by his wife, Julie-Anne (Wright); son, Maxwell Christopher; brother, Christopher (Sara) of Plymouth; sister, Katri (Clint) Balfanz of Lakeville; parents: Ken & Karen Carlson of Grand Rapids; maternal grandmother, Florine Lutterman of Grand Rapids; nieces: Scarlett Balfanz, Greta Carlson, Petra Balfanz; loyal boxer, Tiggy; in-laws: Murray & Sandy Wright of Port Washington, Scott (Tammy) Wright of Bloomington, Jeff Wright of Fort Lauderdale, Ruth Wright of Ontario, Canada; best friend, Adam "Donk" Dahlke of Bloomington; and numerous extended family throughout the US and Canada. Memorial service at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH MAPLE GROVE CHAPEL (13745 Reimer Dr.) Saturday, March 3rd at 11 AM. An additional service will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grand Rapids on March 17th, 2012 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Jerry Weiss officiating.
