Della Charleen 'Char/Butch' (Nuzum) Lande

Lande, Della Charleen "Char/Butch" (Nuzum) age 77, passed away peacefully on April 25, at her home in the care of her sons Tom and Tim. Preceded in death by beloved husband of 51 years, Allen; parents, Frank and Helen Nuzum; and sister, Frana Priddy. Char is survived by her sons, Tom (Sue) and Tim; grandchildren, Jason (Shookie), Joe, Nicole (John) Lachner, Alex (Ben) Harste, and Tyler; great grandchildren, Bimo, Jordan and Olivia; sister, Billie Jo (Chuck) Schrader; sisters-in-law, Pat (Len) Holdorf, Julie Lande and many treasured nieces, nephews and friends. She was born in 1938 in Belpre, Ohio, graduated from Athens Senior High School in 1956 and married Allen Lande on November 29, 1958 in Athens, Ohio. Char retired in 2014 after 25 years at the University of Minnesota Book Store. A celebration of Char's life will take place at Bunker Hills Activity Center, 550 Bunker Lake Boulevard, Andover, MN on Saturday, April 30. Gathering, sharing of memories, and refreshments from 2:30-4:30 p.m., memorial service at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred, to be donated to the charities of Char's choosing.
