Mildred S. Olsen

Olsen, Mildred S. Age 91 of Bloomington, entered into Eternal Life on March 14th, 2016. Preceded in death by husband, Eugene Olsen and many siblings. Millie was a devout Catholic who showered her family and friends with prayers. A skilled cook, she showed love through gifts of food and hospitality. Her spice for life and wry sense of humor touched all who knew her. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Presbyterian Homes and Hospice in Bloomington for their care and kindness in Millie's last year. Survived by 5 children, Stephen (Catie), Kevin (Pamela), Francine (Patrick) Young, Janene (Ruben) Velasquez, and Gary (Luanne); 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Private interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials requested to St. Peter's Catholic Church in Richfield.
