Beaver, Harold Joseph 95, succumbed in his sleep on May 27, 2010 at the Jones-Harrison Home in Minneapolis. Born in Kasson, Minnesota on May 30, 1914 to Ole and Olcna Beaver he grew up in Kasson, graduated from Kasson High School and attended Rochester CC. He married Amber Lauretta Roberts on April 15, 1938 in Kasson, where they lived most of their years. They also lived in Brainerd, Mankato and Minnetonka before retiring to their lake home in Nisswa. During retirement they traveled throughout the world and spent many winters in Phoenix. Harold's working years were in electrical construction with major projects including Mayo Clinic, IBM facilities, Brainerd state hospital, Mankato State campus and Cargill headquarters. Harold is survived by his wife of 72 years, Amber; sons, Laird and Bernie (Patricia) of Edina; daughter, Candace (Lee) Frederiksen of McLean, VA; 6 grandchildren (Heidi, Lyndsay, Heather, Dane, Nathan and Andrew); and 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Olga Johnson of Great Falls, Montana; and sister-in-law, Dorothy (Walter) Beaver of Kasson. Predeceased by son, Milo; and 6 siblings. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 20 at 1:00 PM at Jones-Harrison Residence, 3700 Cedar Lake Road, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
