Ernie Hallgren

Hallgren, Ernie Age 87, formerly of Mpls., passed away Saturday, February 13, at Wesley Acres in Des Moines, IA, from complications of Lewy Body Disease. Born November 1, 1928. Graduated from St. Louis Park High School and the University of Minnesota; served in the US Army. The majority of his career was spent as an accountant for Langford Electric. Active in Rotary Club and Westminster Presbyterian Church. Ernie enjoyed good music, the fellowship of good friends, a good meal and a good game of golf. His quick wit, dry humor and generous heart will be missed by all who knew him. Survived by loving wife, Katharine; sister, Helen Waddington, of Des Moines; nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date. Memorials to the charity of the donors choosing.
