Feick, Robert Earl Age 70. Robert was born in Grafton, ND to Earl and Jean (Fleming) Feick. He grew up on the family farm in St. Vincent. After graduating with the honor of Salutatorian from Humboldt High School in 1957, he enlisted in the U.S Army, one year of which he served in Germany. On September 2, 1961 he was joined in loving marriage to Gwen Sorenson at Grace Lutheran Church in Hallock, MN. He attended the University of Minnesota and worked as a draftsman at Honeywell for 10 years before beginning a career in sales. He enjoyed being a sales representative of electronic components, first for HEI in Chanhassen, MN, then managing his own company, the Twist Company, until his retirement in December 2001. He enjoyed experiencing new things and was an avid sports enthusiast and outdoorsman. He loved camping, boating, fishing and hunting, as well as scuba diving, motorcycling, skiing and snowmobiling. Every vacation and weekend was an adventure with his family and friends, enjoying one of these activities. Bob's philosophy was to work hard and play hard. He leaves, as his legacy to his sons and others who knew him well, the desire to work hard but also to pursue fun and adventure. After retirement, he and Gwen moved from their farm in Maple Grove to St. Vincent, MN to live at the family farm and their home at Lake of the Woods. He enjoyed traveling to see his sons and grandchildren and being a snowbird in Mesa, AZ.
