Kiriluk, Walter A. 86, of Friendship Village, passed away June 4, 2008. He was born in Hallock, MN. Preceded in death by parents, Anton and Helen; brothers, Edward and Lawrence; sisters, Stella and Amelia. Survived by wife, Margaret; brother, Eugene of Washington; nieces, nephews and friends, especially the Rose and Spaeth families. Walter's graduation from the U of M was interrupted by military service in the Army Air Corp. After study and training at Indiana University, he received his commission as a Russian interpreter at Yale University which led to his serving in Kun Ming, China. After his service, he was employed with Shell Oil in Hibbing and retired from Onan Corporation. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery. Memorial service information to follow.
