Lindau, Nancy Faye Age 78, of Edina, passed away on February 18, 2020. Nancy was a native Californian who moved to Minnesota with the love of her life, Philip Lindau, who preceded her in death. Nancy will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She wouldn't miss a pontoon ride at the cabin, savored her winters in Florida, and loved a good game of golf, cribbage or bridge. However, those activities were actually just her preferred way to spend time with the the people she loved. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Lucy Yarbrough. Nancy's love and devotion will be deeply missed by her son Philip and his wife Sharon, and daughter Karen (Lindau) Peikert and her husband Johann. Nancy adored her grandchildren and they absolutely knew it. David and Bryn Lindau, Benjamin Lindau, Luke and Stephanie Peikert, Grant and Kaylee Peikert and Kyle Peikert mourn the loss of her unconditional love and support. The brightest light in her later years was certainly Vivian Faye, her precious great-granddaughter. Throughout a series of complex health issues, Nancy modeled courage, strength and dignity to all. Her example and life will not be forgotten. Well done, good and faithful servant. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 25 at 3:00 with visitation one hour before the service. It will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, MN. If desired, memorials in support of Fairview Hospice can be directed to the Fairview Foundation.
