Hingos, Leonard Bruce "Lenny" of Golden Valley, Minn., entered into peaceful rest on January 14, 2020 in Hopkins at the age of 66. Born in St. Paul, on February 19, 1953, Lenny spent his childhood in their tight-knit St. Paul neighborhood. He was a proud graduate of Holy Childhood School and Murray High School, and a daily Minnesota State Fair goer and a pinball/arcade ace in his younger days. On March 3, 1984, Lenny was united in marriage with the love of his life, Patty. In 1986, their only son Stephen was born, and together with their cherished neighbors and a menagerie of treasured pets, their family was complete. In 2018, Lenny retired from his long-time career as a customer service specialist at Buhler in Plymouth. He made many trips to Switzerland on behalf of Buhler, employing his considerable skills in the German language. A keen amateur meteorologist, Lenny was fascinated by Minne-sota's often-unpredictable weather. He was also a NASCAR-enthusiast and enjoyed many years of camping in Chetek, Wis., with his wife and friends. Lenny is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patty; his parents, Jerome and Clarabell Hingos; and his sister, Cheryl Stratton. He is survived by his son, Stephen of Golden Valley, his cat Gibson, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, cousins, neighbors and friends. A celebration of Lenny's life is set for 2-5 p.m. on January 25 at Schuler's Tavern in Golden Valley. All are welcome to raise a glass to Lenny.
