Lizz Paul

Paul, Lizz Beloved mother, wife, grandmother, friend, piano teacher and mentor, died peacefully September 8 surrounded by her children. Elizabeth Isaak Paul was born January 28, 1930 in Parkston, SD. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Dakota in 1952 majoring in music (voice, performance and composition). During her life long career as a devoted piano and theory teacher in Minnetonka (1964-2014) she was also a parent advocate for gifted/talented at the Local and National levels (1976-1983). Lizz is survived by her children, Matt (LuAnn), Beth, Linda (Mark) Buettner, Thadd (Jackie); grandchildren, Kelly, Ben, Carly; extended family; past students and dear friends. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. So., Edina, MN 55435 (952) 924-4100. Visitation at 3:00pm, service at 4:00pm with reception to follow.
