Paraschou, Miriam Marie Age 84 of Eagan, MN entered into eternal peace on August 23, 2019. Born in Decatur, IL to Edwin Milam and Margera (Aulabaugh) Andrews, she studied Education and Music at Wheaton College and was a beloved educator for many years. She married Parry Paraschou in 1969, who was later ordained into the Holy Priesthood in 1970. Presvytera Miriam and Fr. Parry began their ministry together at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Watertown, NY. In 1975 they were assigned to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, St. Paul, MN. She and Fr. Parry engaged themselves fully into the life of the church at St. George. Presvytera Miriam was actively involved with the Choir, Philoptochos, and enjoyed directing the cherished annual Christmas Orchestra. She was a talented educator and musician and for many years enjoyed teaching and sharing the gift of music through her very own Kindermusik South of the River studio. Presvytera Miriam's strong faith, grace, kindness and love endeared her to parishioners and friends alike. She will remain in the hearts of her children, Soule (Vicky) Paraschou; Lisa (Misael) Jordan, Milam (Maria) Paraschou and grandchildren, Parry, Basil, Dimitri, Kharissa, Evie, Miriam, Jonathan, Sophia and Parker. As well as her brother Don (Carol) Andrews, and nephews, Bruce Andrews, Douglas (Debra) Andrews. Visitation 5-8 PM Sunday, with Trisagion at 7:30 PM at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul. Funeral Service 9:30 AM Monday, September 2 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church 1111 Summit Avenue at Lexington. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
