Cammon, Reginald Garfield On Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, Reginald "Reggie" Garfield Cammon, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 64 after a ten year battle with Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 3 and a recent diagnosis of ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease. He was surrounded by his family and close friends. Reggie was born on July 24th, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio to Garfield and Catherine Cammon. Reggie receiv-ed his Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University. On May 12, 1984, he married his wife Toni. They raised two children together, Olivia and Isaiah. Reggie was first a man of God. His dedication for serving others was present throughout this entire life. He touched the lives of many people through ministry and sharing his love and passion for Jesus. Reggie loved to spend his spare time fishing and working in his yard. He was a loyal, selfless, caring, family man. He was known for his infectious smile and kind spirit. Reggie was predeceased in death by his father, Garfield, and his mother, Catherine. He is survived by his wife, Toni; his daughter Olivia (Cole); his son Isaiah; his sisters, Brenda (Ahmed), Lezley, Tina (John) and several other loving family members. A visitation and Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 16th, 2019, at Speak the Word Church International, 515 Jersey Avenue South, Golden Valley, MN 55426. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the service starting at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to either the National Ataxia Foundation ataxia.org or the ALS Association alsa.org.
