Koonce, Elaine M. age 89, of St Louis Park, passed away on July 4th, 2019. Preceded in death by husband, Frederick James Koonce; her parents, brothers and sisters. Survived by daughter, Ann Koonce and her many nieces, nephews and friends. Elaine taught school in the Minnetonka School District, St. Louis Park Schools and then worked as a Special Education Administrator in the Apple Valley/ Rosemount School District. She leaves many wonderful friends and former students who remember her fondly. Throughout her career, she made lifelong relationships with the many teachers and students whose lives she touched. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 18th at 1 pm at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 4801 France Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55410.
