Thoen, Darla Michele (Ambroz) On June 14, 2019, Darla Michele Thoen (Ambroz),age 56 and loving mother of three children, passed away suddenly and surrounded by her family. She was born on April 28th, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN to Robert and Darlyne Thoen. She graduated from Eden Prairie High School in 1981 and later from the University of Minnesota in 1985. After graduating, she worked at JC Penney Corporate. Upon starting her family, she devoted her life to raising her children at home and volunteered much of her time in the community across a wide array of organizations. She was known for being incredibly kind, giving and having a creative eye. She is preceded in death by her beloved brother, Lance. She is survived by parents Robert & Darlyne Thoen, children, Alyssa, Abby and Noah Ambroz and love of her life, Paul Ambroz. Private family interment. Memorials will go to her most recent volunteer efforts in providing support for hospice care.
