McChesney, Robert J. "Bob" 87 died peacefully at home on June 9, 2019. He was born and raised in Minneapolis and a resident of Luck, Wisc. and Branson, Missouri. Bob had a varied career working as a salesman for Firestone, an umpire and referee for local adult sports, managing rental properties in Minneapolis, and working for his brother, Dick at Home Beverage Company. His family was his greatest love and concern. He was a good, loyal friend to many and an ardent lover of animals. He had a passion and talent for woodworking and an intense interest in Civil War history. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Freeda and Ernest McChesney; sister, Cheryl Provo; brothers, Wayne and Calvin; and the mother of his children, Patricia. He is survived by his wife, Carol; brother, Dick; son, Patrick; and daughters, Pam McChesney, Sue Anderson, Mary Bergen, Ann Nelson, and Katie McChesney; 17 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Services were held Friday, June 14th at Lakewood Chapel and Cemetery.
