Simonson, The Rev. Earl C. Age 89 of Mpls, formerly of St. Paul, passed away June 11, 2019. Born in Decorah, IA to his parents Clifford and Clara Simonson, grew up on St. Paul's Eastside. Graduating from Harding High School in 1948, he worked for the Ford Motor Company, graduated from St. Thomas College and the St. Paul Seminary. Ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Mpls May 24, 1969. Celebrated his 50th Anniversary of Ordination in May of 2019. Served the parishes of the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, the Church of St. Luke, the Church of the Presentation and as Pastor of the Church of St. Clement. Member and past Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Nicollet Assembly. Survived by nephews, Dan (Zona), Dave (Sherry), Brett Simonson; niece, Deborah Brace. VISITATION Thurs., June 20, 5-10pm with Vigil Service 7:30pm in the CHURCH OF ST. CLEMENT, 901 24th Ave. NE.
