Erickson, Donna Mae age 91, of Golden Valley MN, passed away on June 7, 2019 surrounded by her beloved family and her loyal Shih Tzu companion, Buddy Baxter. Beloved mother, grandmother, wife, friend and aunt. Survived by her children: Jeff (Mary VandenBosch), Jill (John Eggert), and Kim (Kevin) Birkland; the greatest gift of her golden years, grandchildren Cooper, Sierra, and Oliver Birkland. And, loving nieces and nephews, Randy Roelker, Pam Holt, John and Tom Schmalz. Predeceased by the love of her life and husband for 55+ years, James (Buckle) Erickson. Sisters, Shirley Egan, Doris Roelker. Parents, Vigo and Laura Thornby. Unparalleled wife, mother and grandmother. Her radiant, joyful spirit left an indelible mark on all she met, and never faltered through countless challenges. She lived her life with a rare grace and courage- with an equal measure of feistiness and fun. Her unbridled childlike zeal made her always up for an adventure, and was only rivaled by her innate curiosity and care for others.
