Leininger, Evelyn Aleida Passed away Jan. 3, 2019 at the young age of 99. Preceded in death by her husband George James Leininger; daughter Evelyn Janice Jakubec; grandson Peter James Jakubec; mother & father; her four sisters and brother. Survived by sons Richard (Darlene), Girard (Gail deceased), Charles (Lorilee), Larry, Twig; daughter Corrine (Robert Cook); 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. Evelyn was caregiver for her husband for 31 years; and a caregiver to all of her friends that were in need. She was absolutely one of the best bakers to ever mold flour into mouth watering cakes and cookies. The holidays will never be the same without her. A memorial service will be held August 3, 2019 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 715 Minnetonka Mills Rd., Hopkins, MN 55441 at 11am. Luncheon to follow.
