Carlson, Jack Louis Age 70, of Eagan Jack Louis Carlson, age 70, of Eagan, passed away Tuesday, March 5 with his loving family at his side. He was born in Pierre, SD on September 16, 1948 to H. Lloyd and Alice Kathryn (nee Hines) Carlson. Jack graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College and joined the Navy as an officer. He served as a swift boat captain in Vietnam. Jack was an avid golfer, softball player, and a movie and music aficionado. He is survived by his wife Jan (nee Mahowald); children, Kathryn (Steve) Ramos, and Joseph (Melanie); step-children, Karl and Kris Bohnsack, and Rob Lowe, six grandchildren, Nikole, Jakob, Travis, Stevie, Jack, and Devyn; brother, Jim (Vicki) Carlson; sister, Barb (Mike) Magelky, and his stepmother, Diane. He was preceded in death by his father and mother. Visitation will be held 3-6 PM, Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Klecatsky and Sons Eagan Chapel, 1580 Century Point, Eagan, and also Monday, March 18 10-11 AM, followed by 11 AM Funeral Service in the Funeral Home.
