Lickteig, Thomas M. of Bloomington, MN died well, without pain, and with a twinkle in his eye, surrounded by his loving family. A husband of 55 years and father of five, Tom is survived by his wife Jeanne and sons Tom (Tracy), John (Alisa), Tony, and Paul and was preceded in death by son Dan. As grandfather to Olivia, Emma, Kate, Meg and John, Tom was always proud of who his kids and their kids had become and are becoming still. As a committed Catholic and Army veteran, Tom was dedicated to service in his community. May he be remembered for his sense of humor, his capacity to strike up a conversation with any stranger he met, and his commitment to family. He will be especially missed both for his quick laugh and his tendency to shed a tear during westerns. Tom grew up in Greeley Kansas, the youngest of eight children and more cousins than one can count. He is survived by sisters Julianne, Virginia, Rita and brother- in-law Ken. He was preceded in death by parents Leonard & Emma and siblings Kathleen, Jean, Elaine and Dick. Mass of Christian Burial Monday Feb. 11th at 11:00 AM at St. Edward Church, 9401 Nesbitt Ave S. Visitation one hour before Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family. Washburn-McReavy.com Werness Brothers 952-884-8145
