Albers, Garland M. Age 82 of Alexandria died peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2019, with his family surrounding him at the St. Cloud Hospital. Garland is survived by his beloved wife, Sally and their children; Tom (Anne) Albers, Libby (Tim) Erickson, Cindy (Terry) Verschaetse, Jim (Leila) Albers, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, his sister Armajean (Joe) Jannach, brother-in-law Terry (Nancy) Swenson, sister-in-law Jane Tambornino, numerous nieces, nephews all who loved him dearly. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:30 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Alexandria. A Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Anderson Funeral Home and also for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. A memorial will be given in our family's name to BARC Windom, supporting the arts, education and athletics. Arrangements are with the Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria. andersonfuneral.net
