Aufderheide, Roger D. 58, of Mpls passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019 in his sleep in Deer River, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Everline. He worked for WUCW network for 32 yrs. Roger lived life through simple pleasures, spending time at the lake, fishing and hunting. He had a vast knowledge of astronomy, a quick wit and sense of humor that brightened our lives. He is survived by brothers, Guy and Dean; sisters, Dian (Dennis) Eggert, Kary (Greg) Beeth; nephew, Craig Aufderheide (Heidi); niece, Darcy (Jeff) Carroll; great nephews, Noah and Isaac Carroll; faithful companion, Winnie. Visitation of family and friends will be Thursday Jan 24th, 1-3 pm at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Av S. Memorial donations preferred to Pet Haven or charity of choice.
