Irene Stone Goldfine

Goldfine, Irene Stone was born August 14, 1923 and died January 10, 2019. Irene was preceded in death by husband Henry, parents Ben and Florence Stone, brothers Vernon and Lewis Stone and sister Beatty Zimmerman Rutman. She is survived by children Linda and Neal Goldstein, Abby and Bob Goodman, and Sander Goldfine; grandchildren Sarah (Joe) Wall, Evan (Caity Day), Michael (Amy) Goodman, Matt (Minda) Goldfine, Adam Goldfine and Amy Goldfine; and great-grandchild Mason Goldfine. Irene grew up in Hibbing, married the love of her life Henry and raised 3 children. They started their marriage in Duluth. They moved back to Hibbing until Henry retired from the furniture business. The remaining years of their lives was spent in Scottsdale, Arizona and Minneapolis and St. Paul. Irene was the life of the party and the last to leave and was known for her cooking. Thank you to her nephews David (Gayle) and Bob for always taking extra good care of her. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 12:00 pm Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Adas Israel Cemetery (corner of Howard Gnesen Rd and Martin Rd) in Duluth. SHIVA will be at Beth El Synagogue (5225 Barry St. W.)
