Theodore J. 'Ted' Becker

Becker, Theodore J. "Ted" 93, of Plymouth, passed away peace-fully at North Memorial Hospital on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019. He was the oldest son of Theodore and Mary (Meyer) Becker, born in Butte, MT on March 24, 1925. He was a Farmers Insurance agent in Robbinsdale for 50+ years. Ted married Phyllis Marion Follese on June 25, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. A longtime member of the Golden Valley Country Club, he enjoyed golf, cards and the casino. Preceded in death by wife, Phyllis; son, Gary; parents; brothers, Alton, LeRoy and Wayne. Survived by children, Yvonne (John) Miller, Katherine (Mark) Kennedy and Michael Becker; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Lorraine Schneider, Gordon Becker (Mary), Ione Beimborn and Carl Becker (Janice); many nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Funeral service will be 12 noon on Friday January 18th at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
