McAlpin, Gaile Loreen (Cochran) Age 83, died Tuesday Dec 25th peacefully in her home with loved ones gathered round. She was born Sept. 15, 1935 to Evelyn and Lawrence Cochran in St Paul, MN. She grew up in Annandale where she met her husband Eugene 'Gene' McAlpin. They were married August 21,1957 and made their home on Perch Lake in Baxter, MN where they raised five children. A Mass of Christian Burial is planned for Thursday, Jan 3 at 11 am at St Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd, MN. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to St Francis CCW or the AAUW Minnesota scholarship trust. Arrangements with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd.
