Vagts, Wayne John Age 73 of Plymouth passed away suddenly on Dec. 8, 2018. Survived by wife of 47 years, Katherine (Lakso) Vagts; children, Jason, Jennifer, and Karena Vagts; grandson, Jonathan Inamagua; brother, Richard (Lynette) Vagts; sister-in-law, Brenda Lakso; nieces and nephews, Naomi, Andrew, Joanna Vagts, Bradley (Shelly) Lakso, Cindy (Bryan) Fleck and their families; the Inamagua family and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents John and Mae. Wayne grew up in Breckenridge, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota and was employed as an aeronautical engineer at FluiDyne, Honeywell, and Alliant Techsystems. After retirement, he opened his own business, Vagts Engineering. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His faith was important to him; and he was an active member at Christ Memorial and St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Churches. Memorial service 3 pm Sunday, December 16 at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth, MN. Visitation at church Sunday beginning at 1:30 pm.
