Olsen, Thomas Fred "Tom the Barber" Age 70 of New Brighton passed away on December 6th at 7:20am at The VA Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. He was preceded into heaven by his parents, Fred and Terri Olsen; sister, Nancy Olsen. He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen Olsen; daughters, Jessie Olsen (Branden), Stacy Thury (Dave); sons, Brady & Kyle Ingleman; 3 beautiful grandchildren, Brett, Emily, & Riley; sisters, Judy Lindfors (Rick Johnson), Janet (Jeff) Hendrickson. Tom has been a Barber in NE Mpls for 50 years. He always greeted everyone with a smile and loved to share stories of his hunting adventures. His love and support for the NE community has touched many hearts over the years. Heaven has gained a great Barber, Friend, and Bowler. Celebration of life will be held Sunday, December 16th at 2pm with visitation one hour prior at the Kraus-Hartig V.F.W., 8100 Pleasant View Dr. NE, Spring Lake Park.
