Mary V. (Sissy) Leo

Leo, Mary V. (Sissy) born in Chicago on July 8, 1938, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018 at New Perspective Senior Living in St. Paul, MN. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Veto and brother, John Veto. Mary was a wonderful and caring wife and mother, survived by her husband, Joe; children, Joe (Deb), Jim, Lisa (Mary Sue), John (Carolyn); grandchildren; greatgrandchildren, sister, Peg (Tom); brother, Jim (Pat); many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Thanks to all the caregivers over the years, Our Lady of Peace Hospice Care and Visiting Angels. Mary was a fighter and kept living her life, never complaining (other than for more Coca-Cola, chocolate, watermelon and shopping), despite her illnesses. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Mary's name to MS Society, American Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation and Our Lady of Peace Hospice Care in St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday (11/27) at 10am at Lumen Christi Catholic Church. Visitation Monday (11/26) 4-7pm at O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home, 575 S Snelling Ave, St. Paul, also 1 hour prior to Mass on Tuesday. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
