Diederich-Lee, Margaret Ann April 9, 1950 - Nov. 12, 2018. Margaret "Margo" Ann Diederich-Lee, 68, of Benson, Minn., died Monday, November 12, 2018, at Meadow Lane CareHealthcare Center. Visitation will be from 121 p.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. Margaret "Margo" Ann Diederich-Lee was born on April 9, 1950, in Benson, Minnesota, the daughter of Cletus and Doris (Matter) Diederich. She grew up in Benson and attended Parochial School at St. Francis in Benson. She graduated from Benson High School and attended college at the University of Minnesota Morris. On May 15, 1976, she was united in marriage to Rudolph Valentino Lee at Incarnation Catholic Church in Minneapolis. This union was blessed with over 42 years of marriage. She lived in Minneapolis for most of her adult life, where she worked in the banking field, most recently known as BMO Harris until her retirement in 2008. Margo did a significant amount of volunteer work for the Minnesota DFL Party. She was very active in the Minneapolis Kingfield Neighborhood Association. Margo enjoyed reading, gardening, and tending to her memorabilia collections. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. Margo is survived by her husband Rudy of Minneapolis; her daughters Chrycisse Diederich of Savannah Georgia and Maia Diederich-Lee of Minneapolis; her grandchildren Diedrick Zachary Nagle, Keyana Rose Diederich, Tamia Aiyana Wright, Anthony Valentino Diederich-Lee, and Mariah Ann Diederich-Lee; her sisters Jean Diederich of Minneapolis, Patricia Watkins of Benson, and Mary Ellen Diederich of Windom; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Cletus and Doris Diederich, her brothers Joe and Paul, and her sister Lucille Diederich.
