Schraiber, Adalie "Peggy" (Bernstein) Age 87, of St. Louis Park, died peacefully surrounded by family on October 4. Preceded in death by parents, Rose and Edward "Edel" Goldman; brother, Marvin "Mottel-Uncle Brother" Goldman; former in-laws, Rose and Louis Bernstein; first husband, Howard Bernstein and husband, Carl Schraiber. Survived by sister Sandy Kaplan (Ben), sister-in-law Libby Goldman; brother-in-law Richard Bernstein (Robbie), children Burton Bernstein (Sara), Patrice Winkelmann, Neil Bernstein (Carol), and Barry Bernstein (Sherri), and five grandchildren Ariel, Elisa, Hannah, Raina and Ayden Bernstein, extended family Linda Lindholm, Josh Lindholm and many nieces and nephews. A proud graduate of North High School 1948, she was a loving mother and wife who always opened her home and heart to others. She was a strong woman who maintained her faith and traditions throughout her life. Funeral services 11:00 am Monday, October 8 (TODAY) at Adath Jeshurun Synagogue, 10500 Hillside Lane West, Mtka. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Adath Jeshurun Synagogue or the Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School.
