Norton, Dr. John Jeffrey, D.D.S. May 28, 1948- September 12, 2018 Passed away peacefully in St. Paul, MN. Preceded in death by parents, John C. and Betty Norton. Survived by children Cara (David) Mach, Kelsey (Tom) Petithomme, and John (Amanda) Norton. Also survived by wife Deb Norton, stepchildren Marni and Kelly Hurt, and sisters Sherri (Chuck) Flatten and Nancy (David) Kaysen, and mother of his children Connie Maher. John leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 6 nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends. John, a fellow in the Academy of General dentistry, practiced in Cottage Grove for 40 plus years and eventually realized his dream of retiring to the mountains of Big Sky, Montana. John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed adventures of all kind and shared his enthusiasm and love of nature with family and friends. John was happiest chartering his sails, chasing fresh powder on the mountain, seeking the next hole-in-one, and casting his flies along the banks of Montana rivers. He will be remembered this way, and greatly missed. Celebration of life will be held at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club, 2920 220th St. E., Prior Lake, MN 55372, on Nov. 18th, 2018 at 3:00 PM.
