McCarron, Peter Andrew Age 82 of St. Paul, passed away on September 9, 2018. Peter was born in Mason City, Iowa on November 30, 1935. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Noble (Fitzpatrick) and Margaret Irene (Mogan) McCarron; siblings Mary Margaret McCarron, Jettie Anne McCarron, Patricia McCarron McGinn, Roberta Rose McCarron, Sarah Jean McCarron Muller, Ralph Noble McCarron Jr. He is survived by beloved wife of 56 years, Margaret Mary; children Mary Catherine McCarron McVey (James), Susan Marie McCarron Ardi (Paul), Thomas John McCarron (Sheila): 11 grandchildren; sister Camilla McCarron Weber (William); and brothers Paul Joseph McCarron and Thomas John McCarron (Patricia). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Peter earned a BA degree in Chemistry from St. John's University in Collegeville, MN; a MBA from the Graduate School of Business (now known as the Booth School) of the University of Chicago; and was a graduate of the US Army's Corps of Engineering School, Fort Belvoir, VA. Peter retired from 3M Company where he was employed for 38 years. He was a Research and Development Chemist and held positions in New Product Development, New Business Acquisitions and Information Technology. He also served in the US Army Corp's of Engineers in Kaiserslautern, Germany, as a First Lieutenant. Mass of Christian Burial Monday (9/17) at 10:30AM at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1938 Stanford Ave, St. Paul, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church.
