Siess, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Age 86, died Aug. 24, 2018. Director of Chaplaincy and Clinical Pastoral Education at University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinic, 1976-94, and Director of Chaplaincy with Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, 1994-2002. Taught at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. Guided two leading national chaplaincy associations (ACPE and APC) in developing codes of ethics and building accountabilities into their professional standards of practice. Preceded in death by wife, Eleanor. Survived by a siblings Marian and Tom; children Timothy, Jonathan, Matthew, Daniel and Elizabeth;10 grandchildren. Visitation Fri., Sept. 7, 4:30- 8 p.m. at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 3045 Chicago Ave., Mpls. Funeral service on Sat., Sept. 8 at 11 a.m.at Mt. Olive, with visitation one hour prior.
