Alfredson, Alan "Catman" Dennis Age 76 of West St Paul, passed away July 26, 2018. Has gone to be in the golden chariot with Granny and Riley. Preceded in death by his parents, Erling & Ellen Alfredson; baby sister; mother & father-in-law, Hildegarde (Granny) & Joe Garman; brother-in-law, LeRoy Garman; & sisters-in-law, Geraldine Wilcox, Jean & Linda Garman; and his dog, Riley which was his best friend. Survived by his loving wife Donna of 47 years; children, Eric, Erling, Terryl (Larry) Johnson, Mark (Michelle) Rodgers and Keith which was also his best friend and caregiver for the past two years; grandchildren, Zach, Jake, Joey, Madeline Alfredson, Dakota Wright, Monica, Vanessa, Stephanie & Genevieve Rodgers; brother, Robert (Carol); brothers-in-law, Maynard, Stan (Marlis), Daniel (Joyce), Eugene (Maggie) and Pat (Jan) Garman; sisters-in-law, Deb (Jack) Steinle & Yvonne Garman; many nieces and nephews and good friends. Funeral Service 11AM Thursday, August 9th at KLECATSKY & SONS WEST CHAPEL, 1051 So. Robert St. @ Arion in West St. Paul. Visitation Wednesday, August 8th from 4-7PM and also 1 hr. prior to the Service on Thursday all at the funeral home. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Al was a retired mechanic & avid sportsman. He took great pride in helping and teaching anyone about his knowledge of cars, spearfishing, bass fishing, hunting & trapping. He had a passion for gardening and sharing those vegetables with many. Al also enjoyed car racing including helping in the pits to get others cars ready, watching Nascar on TV & racing himself. He touched many lives and acquired many good friends through the process. His infectious smile and humor will be greatly missed.
