Edworthy, Clifton Jr. Age 74 of Mpls., passed away June 15th, 2018. Preceded in death by parents Clifton Sr. and Mary brother Louis and sister Shirley. Cliff was a veteran of the US Navy, serving as a Yeoman and worked in the candy wholesale business his entire career until his retirement in 2005. He was a wonderful father and a true friend to many. He had a loving heart and was always willing to help those in need. Survived by former spouse Alma Ann; son Bradley (Debby) Edworthy; five sisters Connie, MaryAnn, Nancy, Sharon and Linda, three brothers Tom, Jimmy and Bobby. Cliff was an avid and proficient golfer most of his life competing in numerous state, and regional tournaments. Highlighted by winning the Pro-Am preceding the 2001 LPGA Tyco/ADT Championship at Trump International in West Palm Beach, FL and meeting Donald Trump. In 2006 Cliff was the Division 2 Champion of the State Sr. Publinks. He enjoyed most all sports and especially enjoyed watching the North Stars and Wild hockey games. Memorial service Friday, July 27th at 10:30 AM at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel, Plymouth, MN followed by a Committal Ceremony at Ft. Snelling at 12:30 PM.
