Cota, (Lunderborg) Darlene C. Age 77 of Otsego passed away June 16, 2018 after a long battle due to complications of Sarcoidosis. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and parents Abner & Elva Lunderborg. Darlene lived with courage and spunky determination in the face of many health challenges and was an example to everyone, she will be deeply missed. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, baking and cooking for family and friends, gardening, especially tending her roses and planting trees, birdwatching, bowling and playing cards. Darlene is survived by children: Sheryl (Lynn), Michael, Patrick, Renee (Scott) Wisness, Andrea (Dan) Bergstrom; grandchildren: Casey (Stephanie) Wisness, Christopher (Heather) Wisness, Abigail Wisness & Joshua Wisness; siblings: Dennis (Maxine) Lunderborg, Gail (Robert) Berg, Bruce (Judy) Lunderborg; sister-in-law: Arlene Poppler; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life on June 23rd at Dare's Funeral Home 805 Main St. NW in Elk River, visitation at 2 p.m. with memorial service at 3 p.m. Darlene's family would like to thank the many health care providers who helped her in her life journey.
