Groth, Craig August Died May 14, 2018, in Yucaipa, CA, after battling numerous medical issues. Preceded in death by his mother, Arla. Survived by his father, Cornell Groth, sister Dawn Coyour, brothers Scott, Todd, Shane, and Dean. Born November 28, 1955, in Minneapolis, MN, Craig had an outgoing personality and enjoyed meeting and talking to people. He loved the ocean and moved out to San Diego, CA, after high school. Craig had a tumultuous life but was thankful for the love of family, friends, and God. Even though he didn't have much, he often helped those less fortunate by sharing his house, his time, and anything else he could provide to bring comfort. He enjoyed church, jazz music, and Westerns (Gunsmoke), but not necessarily in that order. While Craig wrestled with some of his earlier decisions in life, he had a loving and trusting heart and held fast to God's love even as he struggled with God's forgiveness. No doubt his heavenly greeting with God was as warm and enthusiastic as he greeted others, saying, "Yeah, Buddy!"
