Lethert, Ardis Margaret (nee Ohlson) Age 80, of Burnsville, MN, passed away surrounded by her family on February 21st of congestive heart failure. Born June 12th in St. Paul. Preceded in death by her parents Walter & Mabel Ohlson; daughter Teresa; grand daughter Emily; brother Kenneth; and niece Irene. Ardis grew up in St. Paul and moved to Burnsville in 1970. She was a 30-year employee of Dayton's and a long time ESL teacher. She will be remembered for her incredible generosity, humor and razor-sharp wit. She was an active volunteer, loved traveling, the theater, and most of all her family and friends. She is survived by her children Anne (Mike Smith), Joe (Melissa Cadwallader), John, and Jason; grandchildren Grace, Samantha, Carly, and John Jr.; in-laws Mike and Rose; nephews George Turner (Sue), Ray Christy, and Kevin; nieces Julie Patton, Mary Rose Turner, and Allison (Matt Hartman); scores of "favorite students", "best friends" and "boyfriends". Special thanks to the staff of Waverly Gardens and HealthPartners Hospice, Drs. Homans, Larkin, and Wiersgalla, and special caregiver Glenna Lewis.
