Simonson, Judith Lynn "Judie" Age 76 of Austin, TX passed away February 5th, 2018. She was born July 6th, 1941 to Lawrence and Mildred Pearson in Minneapolis, MN. She married Dale Adair Simonson, Sr on August 31, 1996. Judie is survived by her husband Dale Simonson, Sr of Austin, TX; Son: Michael Platt and wife Melissa and their children: Justin James, Lauren Lynn and Evan Michael of Lakeway, TX; Step Children: Kristine Simonson her husband Stewart Roberts and their son Stewart"Joey" Roberts III of St Paul, MN: Dale Simonson, Jr his wife Christine and their children Lindsey and Megan of Naperville IL: Kari Simonson and her Husband Dan Ratliff and their children Alma and Liam of Minneapolis, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Mildred "Millie" Pearson; Son James David Platt and his wife Lynn; and brother Larry Pearson. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, cousin and friend. She will be remembered for her strength, her kind and generous heart, her green thumb and her love of football. She will be missed by so many. Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. A celebration of life service will be held at the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, Saturday, June 2nd at 2:00pm. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Garden Mausoleum.
