Marjorie D. Westlund

Westlund, Marjorie D. age 97 of Maple Grove. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 11, 2018. Preceded in death by husband, George L. in November 2000; brothers, Donald, Harold, Edward and Eugene Steinmetz; sisters, Lucille Fitzsimmons, Myrtle Frey and Bernice Hanson. Survived by children, George E., Carol (Chet) Johnson, Marilyn (Jerry) Gilbert, Diane Carpentier and John (Barbara); 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Wildflower Lodge in Maple Grove for the excellent care given to their mother this past year and a very special thank you to Ellen and Michelle for their dedication and care. Thank you also to North Memorial Hospice staff these past 3 months for their excellent care and guidance to the family. Marjorie's family will celebrate her life at a gathering this summer.
