Nadine Gertrude (Ehlert) Wormwood

Wormwood, Nadine Gertrude (nee Ehlert) age 80, of Elk River, Minnesota, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 26, 2018. She faithfully served her family, the body of Christ, and her community. She was born in Hammond, Indiana to Fred T. Ehlert and Maude B. (Kennedy) Ehlert and grew up in Riverdale, Illinois. After graduating from Wittenberg College, she moved to Minnetonka, Minnesota to marry and raise her children. She is survived by her husband Earle Delaite Wormwood, sister Phyllis (William) Sandvos, brother Fred "Chip" Ehlert, children Cabot (Sharon), Carmen (David) Gunderson, and Yvette Schaber, grandchildren Zachary (You Jungeun), Melinda (Drew) Wiczek, Tracy, Abigail (Jose') Renteria; Ruby, Nadia, Shelley, and Robert Gunderson; Ashley and Noah Schaber, great-grandchildren Ryan Wormwood, Adina and Obed Wiczek. She is preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life service will take place in the late spring.
