Ludeman, Ivan D. age 91, of Richfield, MN, died peacefully on Jan. 24, 2018. Ivan was an educator known for community and church involvement and, most of all, his love of the Lord and family. Ivan worked for nearly thirty years in the Richfield Schools as a principal and led several statewide educational boards. He served two decades on the Richfield City Council dedicated to making Richfield "a great place for families to live." Ivan was a long-time member of Wooddale Church of Richfield and then Eden Prairie. Known for his singing, he continued to share this gift to his last days. Ivan is survived by wife, Jean; daughters, Hope Paulson (Larry), Joann Yost (Eric), Naomi Ludeman Smith (Greg) and step-daughter Deborah Pope (Jeff), and twenty-four grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents and first wife, Ruth. Service Saturday, Feb. 17, at 10:30 AM at Wooddale Church, 6630 Shady Oak Rd., Eden Prairie.
