Lindow, Elizabeth L. Liz Age 96 of Excelsior, MN peacefully passed away on December 30th. Her love of life, family and friends glowed as she passed on positive philosophies, experiences and core values that flow through her family today. Elizabeth graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Minnesota and maintained lifetime friendships with Delta Gamma sorority sisters. After college she shared her interest in fashion and design, creating and managing style shows at Dayton's Sky Room in downtown Minneapolis. Throughout her life her kind and generous spirit led her into many volunteer positions including Abbott Northwestern Hospital Auxiliary, Westminster Presbyterian Church and St. Martin's by the Lake Episcopal Church. She had a passion for music that kept her playing the piano throughout most of her life. She loved spending time outdoors enjoying golf, swimming, tennis,boating, hiking and she even started skiing at age 60. Liz loved to tell stories about riding horses around Lake of the Isles and Lake Calhoun in the old days. In later years she rounded out her talents learning to be a savvy stock investor. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank E. Lasley and Mary Elizabeth Pickett Lasley, brothers Donald and Wilbur and husbands Arthur P. Loomis Jr., Dr. John Baird and Howard E. Lindow. Survived by children John Loomis (Trish), Sarah Dale (Alan) and Frank Loomis (Kathy); grandchildren Kristin Lucas (Dale), Mark Loomis (Ody), Christopher Dale (Lynn), Ashley Loomis and Spencer Loomis; great grandson Reed Loomis and bonus great grandchildren Aynsley Corbett and Spencer Corbett. Private family burial. Celebration of life Friday, May 25th, notification - mid May. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or donor's choice
