Houston Rockets first-round pick Royce White says on Twitter that properly treating his mental-health condition is more important than his NBA career.

The former Hopkins High School star has been absent from practices for almost a week and called Houston "inconsistent' for how it was helping him deal with his anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder.

According to an ESPN report, Royce will meet Monday with the Rockets to discuss his future. He posted on Twitter: "I'm not PLANNING to quit, but if its between my HEALTH and BASKETBALL, health takes precedence." The team said only that White is "not available" and it will continue to support him.
