A record number of University of Minnesota alumni and supporters are set to participate in the institution's annual "Legislative Briefing" on Wednesday.
They'll be encouraged to up their advocacy for the U's legislative priorities, including its capital request. President Eric Kaler will speak.
More than 700 people signed up for the in-person event and more than 100 agreed to participate online, said U spokesman Jeff Falk.
The event is at "max capacity," Falk said by e-mail, but folks can follow along live online. Here are the details:
