The Twins have reinstated catcher Ryan Doumit from the seven-day disabled list and sent first baseman/outfielder Chris Colabello back to Class AAA Rochester.
Doumit missed eight games after leaving the game August 7 at Kansas City with concussion-like symptoms.
In 29 games for the Twins, Colabello has a .221 averahe with four home runs and eight RBI. He is a candidate to be recalled in September when Rochester's season ends and teams can expand their rosters beyond 25 players.
