Come Tuesday, Parrotheads can flock to the newest restaurant in the Twin Cities, where they just might find their lost shaker of salt while enjoying a cheeseburger in paradise.

In time for lunch on Tuesday, various frozen concoctions and other drinks and food will be served after the grand opening of Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, a 315-seat restaurant on the third level of the Mall of America.

"We are ecstatic to bring the Margaritaville lifestyle to the North Star State," restaurant executive David Crabtree said in a statement.

The 10,000-square-foot restaurant draws on Buffett's tropical island musical persona in what operators are assuring is a family-friendly environment, emphasis on imbibing alcohol notwithstanding.

The decor features shades of green and blue, reminiscent of a Caribbean island, complemented by wood accents. "The Porch of Indecision" dining area opens up to the mall.

The first Margaritaville opened in 1987 in Key West, Fla. The franchise has several other locations, including Orlando, Las Vegas, Chicago and Nashville.
