Keeping up with the Gerhardts

For those trying to stay relevant by pretending they've seen the second season of "Fargo," help is on the way. All 10 episodes will run in sequential order. The binge marathon may sound daunting, but it's totally worth it, if only to fully understand why everyone is crushing on Kirsten Dunst, while having a reasonably good excuse to get out of doing weekend chores.

Beauty marks

With Donald Trump now engaged in a different kind of beauty contest, his former property, the "Miss USA Pageant," should proceed with much less drama, unless Miss Arizona stumbles over questions about the merits of a wall. Backstreet Boys will provide the musical entertainment and security to keep Steve Harvey far away from the tabulation center.

Rebel, rebel

Doug Liman, director of the first Jason Bourne film, sets his sights on real-life renegades in "I Am Rebel," a new documentary series that tries in vain to make heroes out of a hijacker who claims he terrorized plane passengers in the name of shining a light on injustices in Detroit, and a computer hacker whose main agenda seems to be causing mischief. Both could have benefited by being portrayed by Matt Damon.
