There is nothing wrong with Bud Light, per se. It is a perfectly acceptable mass-produced beer -- even refreshing on a warm summer day.

But even most Bud Light enthusiasts would agree that there are a LOT of other tastier options available with even a scant amount of effort and research. The main reason brands like Bud Light and Miller Lite succeed, of course, is mass production and massive advertising, and among the greatest venues for domestic lager advertising is adult tackle football, also known as the NFL.

All of which is a long way of saying: Thanks for these tweets, Darren Rovell, and thanks to three of the Vikings' biggest rivals -- Packers, Bears and Cowboys -- who have joined in this crusade. Sure, the Vikings have associated themselves with Miller Lite. But for the purposes of this post, we're willing to forget about that.
